Moab Madness

May 2003

James and I drove from Seattle to Colorado Springs this May. Along the way, we side stepped into Moab, Utah (Wyle E. Coyote country).  There we visited my Uncle John and he hooked us up with a choice camping spot on the Colorado river, a free ride up the cliff on a chair lift, and free passage on a hummer tour of the local terrain.

Where we sleep for a few days:

Hummer tour:

We had two different hummers because one actually lost (broke) 3rd gear after the first part of the tour. Check the views from inside as we are anxiously observing the pending path, and the shots hanging out the side (notice the wheel off the ground). Fun stuff.

This is the road less traveled, but it does get traveled by a few brave souls.

The home movies are in the editing process.

Plus, here's a nice tree pic I put in my Art section.
